The system
How does CloudAccess Key work?
Cloud-connected controllers manage the doors. Each AccessCore One controls up to four doors, keeps its own access database and talks securely to our cloud platform, where you manage people, doors and schedules from the web or a phone.
Do I need a server or VPN on site?
No. Controllers connect to the cloud over a standard Ethernet connection. There are no on-site servers, VPNs or complex networking to set up.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Doors keep working. Access decisions are made by the controller at the door, so cards keep working and schedules keep running. You only need a connection to make configuration changes.
What happens during a software update?
Door control runs on a dedicated processor, so doors stay in service while a controller updates or restarts.
Can I manage more than one location?
Yes. You can monitor and control multiple sites from one dashboard, with each site's doors, people and schedules kept separate.
Credentials & readers
What credentials are supported?
Physical cards, PINs and mobile credentials.
Which readers work with the system?
The AccessCore One supports Wiegand and OSDP readers, selectable per reader port. See the qualified OSDP readers list for reader families verified with the setup wizard.
Qualified OSDP readersIs there an app or dashboard?
Yes. Manage doors and users from the secure web dashboard or from your phone.
